On 25th March 2019, Holme Valley Parish Council declared a Climate Emergency.
On 25th March 2019, Holme Valley Parish Council took a significant step by declaring a Climate Emergency, recognising the urgent need to address climate change for the sake of our planet and future generations. To support this commitment, we established the Climate Action, Communications, and Engagement Committee, which unites the efforts of Parish Councillors with a dedicated group of community volunteers. Together, we aim to inform, educate, and influence the behaviours of residents and businesses in our community.
